Sport dialog is full of fixed mindset cues: “she’s just too short”. “He’s too slow”. “I’m not good.” Growth mindset involves considering each setback as a challenge to grow past. And in coaching, the best way to teach it is to practice it oneself – to consider each athlete in the view of what they can grow into, beyond where they are now. #vb4therestofus #beachvolleyball #lifelessons #growthmindset #leadbyexample #coaching #coachingphilosophy

The best way to teach a growth mindset is to practice it. Demonstrate that you accept challenges and work to grow.
